Application at the Branch

  • The Branch attendant discusses with the customer and informs him/her about the terms, requirements and procedures for the loan submission.
  • The Branch attendant, upon confirming that the customer meets the minimum requirements for receiving the loan, informs the customer about the loan rate, the margin and the necessary guarantees.
  • The customer chooses the length of the loan (in case of a consumer loan) or the monthly payment and fills in the online loan application with the assistance of the attendant. The customer then signs the printout of the online form.
  • The customer is advised of the necessary documentation he/she must submit in order to initiate the loan process.
  • Upon submission of the application the customer does not pay any loan expense amount.

Approved Applications

  • The customer is notified by the Branch attendant about the approval and final terms of the loan and is asked to submit all necessary documentation (in case the documentation was not previously submitted).
  • The attendant checks the completeness and validity of the documentation and proceeds to the contract signature.
  • The attendant opens and charges a loans account for the customer, credits his/hers deposit account, puts the credited amount on hold and collects all necessary signatures from the customer.
  • The customer pays the loan's expenses and signs a Standing Withdrawal Order for the monthly loan payment through his/her deposit account.
  • Upon signing the above documentation the customer may receive the full amount of the loan.

Withdrawal of the Loan Amount

The customer may partially or fully withdraw the loan amount using either his/her deposit account in case of a consumer loan or his/her loan account in case of an open credit loans. The withdrawal may take place at the following locations:

  • Branch Tellers.
  • ASPIS BANK or ALPHA BANK ATMs by using the ASPIS BANK VISA (issued upon request with the consumer loan) or by using the ASPIS BANK DEBIT VISA (issued with open credit loans or with consumer loans when the customer does not require the ASPIS BANK VISA). If the customer already possesses an ATM card (ASPIS CASH, ASPIS BANK VISA, ASPIS BANK DEBIT VISA), he/she must have the card linked to the new deposit account (in case of a consumer loan) or to the new loan account (in case of an open credit loan).

For Balance Transfer Loans, the loan amount is not given to the customer. Instead it is transferred to the corresponding bank, via swift, wire or teller's check. The customer receives the surplus only when the approved loan amount is higher that the "transferred balance".
